Our client is a leading global ingredients producer serving the savoury foods and meat processing industries. With a strong international footprint and reputation for innovation and quality, they are now looking to strengthen their presence across Southern Africa.
We are seeking a driven, entrepreneurial, and strategic Country Sales Manager to take full ownership of sales operations across South Africa and the wider Southern African region.
This is a stand-alone, remote role, offering a high level of autonomy and responsibility. You will act as the key representative for the business in the region, driving growth through distributor partnerships and selected direct customer relationships.
To succeed, you’ll need a strong understanding of South Africa's savoury food & meat processing segments.
Reporting to: Regional Sales Leader
Location: Home-based South Africa
Career path: Southern African countries
Focus: Manage current volumes, distributor management, key account management, growth of market share.
Qualifications:
Ideally degree qualified in a relevant field.
Significant knowledge of the food industry of South Africa, particularly in the savory and meat processing sectors.
10+ years sales and key account management experience within the B2B food industry.
Customer and market focused, with ability to understand technical aspects of the product.
Motivated, organised and structured with a willingness to set up and conduct business activities from a home office.
