Our client is a leading global food safety and quality management consultancy.
The Food Safety Consultant role can be based from any location in China and will be required to conduct food safety audits inspections of food processor, distribution and packaging facilities throughout China, on behalf of our client whilst providing consultation and technical training to management and employees at client facilities regarding the adequacy of food safety, integrated pest management, operational methods, personnel practices, maintenance for food safety, and cleaning practices.
The Food Safety Consultant must be able to be away from home and travel extensively and provide practical and technical support to the food and beverage industry in the areas of food safety operations. Initial 12 week training followed by ongoing support will be provided through effective in-person and virtual training, consulting, and inspections.
The role will suit somebody either looking for a full time or part time contract basis with a practical food safety understanding and experience working in a food production environment (quality, production, engineering).
Qualifications:
5+ years practical experience within food manufacturing operations (production, engineering, quality assurance, internal technical audits).
Food Safety Qualifications not required – full training provided.
Degree qualified in a food related field and/or extensive practical food industry experience.
Must be willing to travel, and work from a home-office.
Must be able to communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English.
What Our Client Offers:
Base salary: 300-350,000 RMB / Year
