Reporting to Regional Site Director, the Industrial Engineer is accountable for all engineering projects at the manufacturing site with overall management of operational and financial performance in line with the company’s Regional and Global standards.
Responsibilities:
Engage and lead engineering in the manufacturing site for processing, continuous improvement, cost saving preventive maintenance.
Develop capital investment plan to align with site supply strategies and operational model.
Maintain standard and develop and maintain detailed timelines for all major projects with collaboration from Engineering, R&D and other relevant functions.
Work collaboratively with regional team to co-create, submit and gain approval for minor and major capital investment projects related to capacity increase and/or innovation activities.
Conduct capacity and utilization studies and provide insights, data and solutions to increase throughput to alleviate bottlenecks and potential capacity constraints for each value stream on site.
Analyse global benchmarking data and provide insights and information to stakeholders on site on performance improvement opportunities.
Support Site Leadership Team to facilitate the annual Operational Planning / Replan process.
Qualifications:
Degree qualified in an Industrial Engineering related field.
Experience in industrial/process engineering from manufacturing operations.
Excellent knowledge of strategic planning and capacity planning
Good understanding of HACCP and Food Safety principles.
Good command of spoken and written English
