The position of Junior or Assistant Sales Manager - depending on experience - will be responsible for the sales, acquisition of new customers and contact with existing customers for our clients food additives business, focusing on Southern and Eastern European markets. The role will suit either a new graduate with a background in a food science field, or somebody with 1-5 years’ commercial experience, and is open to all nationalities to be full-time - office based - out of our clients’ European headquarters in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities:
Acquisition of new customers and expanding existing relationships.
Build good relationships with customers.
Contract and price negotiations.
Drafting quotations and concluding contracts.
Administrative activities, such as arranging deliveries, preparing purchase orders, sending samples, etc.
Visiting customers and trade shows in Europe.
Qualifications:
HBO, Higher Vocation or Degree qualified is preferred.
Open to newly graduated candidates, although some commercial experience is a plus and an interest / experience in the food industry preferred.
You have good friendly, communication skill
Customer-oriented and a real team player.
Fluency command of English, preferably also Dutch, and another language is a plus
Confident, flexible and have a proactive attitude.

EUR 30,000 – 40,000 / Annual
