Our client is a leading, global manufacturer of food ingredients to both the industrial and food service sectors.
The key responsibilities of this newly created position will be to generate new business, maintain existing customer accounts, maximize business potential and identify market trends for our clients’ business in Malaysia. You will be responsible for developing new business but also handle a portfolio of accounts in the future, principally maintaining and developing close working relationships with the customers in order gain sustainable business growth. Food industries include Meats, Snacks, Noodles, QSR, Food Service operators and Food Processors.
Identify business opportunities with both new and existing customers within Meats, Snacks, Noodles, QSR, Food Service operators and Food Processors.
Build and deliver growth within Malaysia.
Maintain relationships with food distributors in Malaysia.
Establish & maintain regular contact with partners.
Develop account plan & achieve agreed sales forecast, goals and objectives.
Manage project & liaise with R&D, QA, CS and regulatory in source unit business countries to ensure flawless execution.
Build strong multilevel relationships within selected accounts to promote products and solution selling services.
Ensure all the management reports for measuring and reporting business performances are integrated, accurate, reliable and on time.
Degree qualified with sales experience in the food industry in Malaysia.
Significant Sales and Key Account Management experience, working within the B2B Food industry, ideally to QSR, Foodservice and/or Food Processors
Ability to manage and influence different stakeholders – both internally and externally.
Ability to travel extensively within Malaysia.
Malaysian national, excellent communicator with a very good level of English.
What Our Client Offers:
Basic Salary: Circa.10,000 – 12,000 MYR/Month (Negotiable depending on experience and current package)
