Our client is a leading supplier of savoury ingredients to food manufacturers.
This newly created role will manage the sales of our clients’ functional savoury ingredients to food manufacturers throughout Japan, as their country representative.
Identify and drive sales growth in savoury food manufacturers for functional savoury ingredients.
Maintain relationships with food distributors in Japan for effective rout to market.
Establish & maintain regular contact with manufacturers and facilitate technical support for line trials at the processor’s factory.
Develop account plan & achieve agreed sales forecast, goals and objectives.
Maintain relationship with current global customers.
Define priority prospects customers aligned to Categories.
Coordinate execution for Regional/Global key accounts.
Manage sales forecasts & Sales reporting for allocated perimeter.
Food Science related educational background would be highly desirable but not essential.
An existing network and sales experience into food manufacturers in Japan is required.
Sales experience within the food ingredients industry is preferable.
Ability to travel extensively within Japan.
Japanese national, Excellent communicator with a good level of English.
