Our client, a global food ingredients manufacturer, is seeking a talented Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement strategy, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management across Thailand. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient sourcing of raw materials, food ingredients, packaging materials, and selected indirect categories while driving cost optimization, supply continuity, and supplier performance improvements.
The Senior Procurement Manager will work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Production, Quality Assurance, R&D, Finance, and Commercial teams to support business objectives through effective procurement planning and execution. The role will also be responsible for negotiating commercial agreements, identifying sourcing opportunities, managing supplier performance, monitoring market trends, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives that enhance procurement effectiveness and create long-term value for the business.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role within the food ingredients industry, demonstrating success in strategic sourcing and supplier management.
In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures, with a strong understanding of food ingredient sourcing and market dynamics.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Leadership skills, team management, strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in English and strong computer literacy.
Right to work in Thailand, and Thai language fluency.
