Our client is a supplier of high quality certified organic and fair trade food ingredients to the North American markets.
We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to lead the development and management of organic raw material sourcing projects across the Americas and EMEA regions.
The role will focus on identifying new sourcing opportunities, building supplier networks, managing sourcing projects from concept through to implementation, and overseeing an assigned product portfolio. You will work closely with suppliers, farmers, certification bodies, exporters, and internal teams including Supply Chain, Operations, QA, Sales, and Marketing.
Key responsibilities include:
Identifying and developing new sourcing opportunities
Supplier selection, onboarding, and relationship management
Leading RFP processes and commercial negotiations
Managing sourcing projects, budgets, and timelines
Supporting organic compliance, audits, and technical assistance programs
Monitoring market trends, geopolitical developments, and supply risks
Supporting trade shows and customer engagement activities
The ideal candidate will have experience in international ingredient sourcing, supplier management, and organic supply chains within the food or agricultural sectors. Strong commercial, project management, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with willingness to travel internationally.
The position is a remote role and can be based anywhere within LATAM, reports directly to the Senior Sourcing Manager based in America and requires travel across South America, and some Europe, with one annual trip to America, so will suit somebody who is comfortable working independently from a home office.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum 3-4 years’ experience working with food ingredients sourcing in a related field and in either the Americas or EMEA region.
Established in region, English and Spanish language, with work authorization is required.
Experience with organic, non-GMO ingredients preferred but not essential.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including internationally.
