We are working with a global food manufacturer who are seeking a Sustainability Manager to drive hands‑on sustainability across international processing operations. This role focuses on practical implementation, site certification, and close collaboration with regional and global teams.
Key points:
Global, operational sustainability role across multiple production sites
Strong focus on site‑level execution and certification (80%) versus administration (20%)
Reports to the global Sustainability Director, part of an international team
Hybrid role based near Rotterdam, with international travel (5-6 site visits per year)
Full‑time position with strong long‑term and global career opportunities
Ideal for a proactive sustainability, EHS, or quality professional who enjoys working close to operations and delivering measurable impact at scale, who is genuinely interested in sustainability.
Qualifications:
3+ years’ experience in operational sustainability or environmentalmanagement, including decarbonization, compliance, and cross‑functional delivery (Scope 3 experience a plus
Hands‑on, proactive, and data‑driven, with strong focus on CO₂ reduction, EMS, audits, and basic project management.
Strong Excel/PowerBI skills, fluent Dutch and English, and willing to travel.
