Our client is a global food ingredients manufacturer, supplying to both food processors and food service channels.
This position will be responsible for the production management during shift operations by maximizing existing resources both manpower and machine capacity to achieve efficiency targets with standard quality and a safe working environment.
Ensure production quantity and quality (OTIF) are met on time as planned.
Coordinates operations activities with Quality Assurance, R&D & Engineering Department to improve the efficiency and quality.
Plan and supervise all activities related to production process, control and assign job to subordinates.
Control day to day production with productivity efficiency to meet with the target.
Forecast and recommend on labor requirements as per operations plan.
Responsible to implement in the plant, the Quality Assurance instructions about: GMP, HACCP, food safety program, environmental control.
Optimize labor utilization and raw materials usage so as to obtain maximum efficiency.
Ensure new & current production staff is properly trained in safety and quality procedure.
Identify, recommend and implement changes to improve productivity and reduce cost and scrap, monitor scrap and rework data. Direct the establishment, implementation and maintenance of production standards.
Coordinate major projects and support various programs essential to manufacturing procedures.
Degree qualified in any related science or engineering field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in food production industry would be desirable.
Strong leadership, communication, analytical and supervisory skills.
Good level of English language.
Knowledge in GMP, HACCP, BRC and lean techniques would be desirable.
