We are working with a global food industry brand who are currently looking to recruit an Account Manager for their UK business to focus on sales and customer management to either the retail & food manufacturing and/or food service sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody eager and ambitious to work alongside a team of experienced commercial colleagues with a great career path in a globally respected brand. Continued support will be offered and autonomy to grow within the role.
The role will be an on-site role in Hertfordshire, with future hybrid options, although close internal cooperation is required so will suit somebody who enjoys the day to day interaction of an office.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining and developing an existing account base.
Prospecting for new clients - either food retail, manufacturing or food service.
Opening new accounts.
Promoting and advising on the product range.
Frequent UK travel required for face to face client visits, with occasional international travel.
Working closely with NPD team to develop product range.
Qualifications:
Experience in a sales related role from within the food industry, either from a manufacturer or distributor.
Innovative thinker who can work on their own initiative and manage time accordingly.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Passionate and driven.
Full current driving license.
Legally authorised to work in the UK without the need for a visa (now or in the future).
