Our client is a supplier of high quality certified organic and fair trade food ingredients to the North American markets, and are looking to hire a Supplier Quality Systems Manager to verify quality assurance compliance across their key manufacturing partners in Asia and Europe. This role ensures that customers consistently receive high-quality, food-safe ingredients. Working as part of the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Team, you will collaborate closely with the Sourcing and Product Management Teams to support new product development, monitor supplier programs, and resolve quality issues promptly.
The position reports directly to the Quality & Food Safety Director based in America and requires travel across South East Asia, South Asia, and Europe, with one annual trip to America.
It is a remote role based in Thailand and will suit an experienced supplier quality professional from the food industry with an entrepreneurial mindset, and comfortable working independently from a home office.
Key highlights of the role:
Conduct supplier audits, including onboarding new suppliers, GFSI certification, and GMP inspections
Collaborate with Eurasian suppliers on technical product development
Provide technical translations, with sustainability focus considered a bonus
Travel across Asia, with occasional trips to Europe and America

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a science related field
Minimum 7 years experience with quality and food safety programs, preferably in manufacturing or research and development.
Auditing experience in food manufacturing facilities.
Ability to safely tour and inspect manufacturing environments with varying temperatures and noise levels, including occasional climbing of ladders/steps.
PCQI certification, or ability to acquire.
Experience with FDA regulations, GFSI certifications and Organic Certification preferred.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including internationally.
Fluent in English language, Thai language and right to work in Thailand.
