The Planning Specialist will be responsible for the demand and supply plans for all categories, managing of the outbound for accurate arrival times as well as all daily dispatching duties.
Responsibilities :
Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results based on sales, inventory, and other data.
Manage inventory following the stock target, safety stock, by collaborating with the cross-functional team to gather updated sales and marketing information, especially for events that significantly affect demand and supply such as promotions and supplier stock issues.
Plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to purchasing of necessary inventory needed to meet the changing levels of product demand and supply.
Lead replenishment planning ensure that inventory is in the right quantities and assortment across various locations to meet the demand.
Collaborate within supply chain team to ensure timely replenishment, considering the different ordering processes for each business unit.
Conducts monthly reviews to communicate forecast and inventory estimations, report on forecast and inventory accuracy, and propose improvement solutions.
Process sales order from order reception until delivery.
Develop and implement process improvements and participate in scheduled meetings as needed to stay abreast of company requirements and opportunities and keep the appropriate all company departments abreast of trends and changes in the logistics industry.
Manage and process supporting documents completed as per schedule delivery, as well as invoice delivery to customers to support the team.
Perform other assignments and projects assigned by the manager.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in any related fields.
Good experience in demand and supply planning experience, ideally in trading business environment. Experience in chemical industry is preferable.
Solid experience in Microsoft Excel, database, statistical and analytic tools.
Good experience in ERP systems, e.g., Oracle, JDE.
Good command of English.
