Our client is a leading operator within the aquaculture farming industry.

The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible the for execution of project plans from project conception to commissioning for all new sites globally and for major expansions of existing
sites for our clients shrimp genetics, hatchery and feed operations. This is a new and unique role in the evolution of the our clients’ global business and will involve extensive travel to support and develop site teams as well as working hands on to drive best practice implementation.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for completion of projects within specified time frames and budget.
Develop project master plan.
Apply for and obtain relevant construction permits and licenses.
Evaluate bid proposals, including quotations for construction materials, labor costs and post-construction services.
Inspect project progress and evaluate performance of all contractors and service providers.
Ensure contractors adhere to contractual obligations and that all activities comply with our clients’ policies and relevant laws, including occupational health and safety.
Accompany official visits by government agencies on site/project inspections
Maintain good working relationships with contractors, suppliers, our clients’ management and investors, and other stakeholders (including government agencies).
Maintain effective communication on project progress, receiving and transferring information to appropriate parties and facilitating meetings when necessary to update progress and/or resolve any issues.
Qualifications:
Degree in an engineering, aquaculture engineering, civil engineering, construction economics, or a closely related field.
At least 2 years of experience leading a project management team.
Sound commercial sense and the ability to work confidently with senior management and directors.
Strong leadership/decision-making skills, tactful, flexible with a proactive and positive attitude
Open to any nationality.
