Our client is a leading manufacturer of natural extracts.
Responsible for setting up and managing the Application lab in Thailand.
Performs bench top work related to applications and product development.
Develop and implement multiple new product launches from concept to commercialization.
Prepares product information for customers using available information sources.
Collaborate with the overseas technical team in development of NPD and/or reformulation of existing products, including commercialization.
Source new ingredients to aid in the innovation process.
Coordinate with cross functional teams for product/process improvement and trouble shooting
Being responsible for documentation update, including technical information support and prepare essential reports.
Handle customers complaints regarding food safety and quality of raw materials, packages, delivery processes, etc.; co-ordinates with concerned personnel to solve problems.
Be creative, plan and execute related applications work and manage multiple projects in a rapidly changing business environment.
Degree in Food science and technology in Food Technology or related area and a solid proven track record in a technical role in a business-to-business environment.
Experience in seasoning and/or savory application technologist or R&D will be an advantage.
Knowledge of Thai FDA registration process as well as local legislation requirements.
Strong network in the food industry market, and exposure with different customers.
Good command of English language and Computer Proficiency
