Our client is a leading global food producer with operations spanning multiple regions.
We’re looking for an experienced and innovative R&D Manager to lead our clients’ R&D team and innovation for the APAC region, to lead the development and execution of cutting-edge product solutions tailored for Asian markets. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee the full lifecycle of R&D projects, from concept to execution, ensuring alignment whilst collaborating across departments, manage budgets and resources.
This full time, on-site role requires somebody to be based out of clients’ Nantong site, leading a team and reporting into Europe. Food industry R&D experience is required with a strong focus on product innovation.
Qualifications:
Educated in a food science, chemistry related field. (Master’s or PhD preferred).
7+ years of experience in R&D and innovation with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of successful product development and innovation within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of research methodologies, data analysis, and project management.
Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
Languages required – English (Advanced) and Mandarin (Fluent)
