Our client is a major global producer of food ingredients, operating across multiple international markets.
As the Sales Manager in China, you will serve as a representative of our clients food ingredients business, selling into a range of categories including savoury, sweet amongst others. The role will be pivotal in driving growth, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring regulatory compliance in one of the company’s most dynamic markets.
The role involves establishing key accounts, managing distribution partners, optimizing route-to-market strategies, and overseeing imports, local specifications, and regulatory compliance.
You will forecast sales, budget expenses, and coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure operational excellence and smooth execution of business plans.
As part of a regional team, you will represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and regional meetings, traveling nationally and regionally to strengthen customer and partner relationships.
This is a remote working role, reporting into an overseas office.
Qualifications:
Proven track record in sales and account management within the food industry.
Knowledge of key account strategies/techniques and the ability to analyze business trends and product cycles.
Strategic thinker with excellent execution and coordination skills.
Strong relationship management skills.
Chinese native speaker, with a very good level of English.
Willingness to set up and conduct business activities from a home office.
Willingness to travel extensively within China and across the Asia Pacific region.

Salary – Approximately RMB ¥400,000/ annual
