Home based – Vietnam
Our client is a leading international supplier of specialty agricultural and horticultural fertilizers. They are currently seeking a hands-on Agronomist to lead technical support across the APAC region. This home-based role is ideal for someone with strong technical agronomy expertise and a commercial mindset.
The role involves providing technical support for specialty fertilizers and biostimulants, as well as contributing to sales efforts across key APAC markets. While the primary focus will be on Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, responsibilities include conducting and managing field trials, product demonstrations, and efficacy evaluations in collaboration with growers and distributors, particularly for tropical crops and specialty fertilizers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or a related field
Experience in agronomy, technical sales, or product development within the fertilizer industry
Strong understanding of tropical cropping systems and specialty fertilizer across Southeast Asia
Experience in conducting, managing, and interpreting field trials in a commercial environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Willingness to travel frequently across APAC in line with project and business demands
