Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Director to lead the commercial team and drive business growth. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales, marketing, and distribution plans to expand our market presence in the retail and food service sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the related fields, experience in managing key accounts and partnerships, and a passion for healthy and sustainable food.
Leading a cross-functional team, you will implement best practices in sales, business development, marketing, and product / brand management to drive business growth and expand market presence. With a strong leadership focus, you will empower and guide managers, fostering a culture of innovation, customer-centricity, and strategic execution to enhance brand positioning, increase revenue, and drive long-term success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Food Science or a related field.
Proven track record in commercial leadership roles within the food industry, fresh produce industry will be highly preferable.
Strong experience in retail, modern trade, food service, and e-commerce sales.
Proven track record in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
