We are currently recruiting a regional EHS coordinator to join our clients’ team in Asia and play a critical role in supporting the EHS global team. Reporting to the APAC EHS manager, you will support the administration of health and safety management systems across the APAC region and as part of the global EHS team.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the APAC EHS manager and the sites in ensuring that all legal, regulatory, and policy compliance responsibilities are effectively discharged.
Carry out EHS training sessions for managers and associates as required.
Advising management on company procedures and legal requirements within the level of a Coordinators knowledge.
Working collaboratively with different departments across the business to provide assurance on all aspects of health and safety compliance.
Creation of regional audit schedules and travelling to sites to support or carry out audits where required.
Assist in the development and improvement of EHS culture across the organisation.
Assist with the investigation of incidents to establish root cause and develop action plans.
Liaising with colleagues across the APAC region to support EHS compliance goals.
Liaise with external agencies, contractors and consultants.
Attend and assist in the organisation of global team meetings, producing agendas and taking minutes where required.
Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in an EHS related field, ideally from an Agriculture, Food or Science based industry. Manufacturing experience is preferred.
Hold an IOSH Managing Safely course (or equivalent) as a minimum.
Knowledge of ISO 45001/14001 is preferable.
Strong computer skills particularly Microsoft Office.
Hold a passport and be able to travel globally when required.
Have a flexible approach to work hours as part of a global team.
Experience of Risk Management and Compliance.
A good understanding and experience of IT packages.
Open to all nationalities, excellent level of English.
