We are working on an excellent opportunity with an Asia-based food ingredients producer, supplying a wide variety of food ingredients in the Thailand market.
Our client is looking for two key positions within their Quality Assurance Team:
Quality Assurance Supervisor (In Process) will be responsible for leading and mentoring a QA team with a focus on compliance, safety, and continuous improvement. Oversees inspections and audits, manages quality issue investigations, and ensures timely resolution with corrective actions. Collaborates cross-functionally to enhance processes and uses digital tools and data analytics for statistical process control and quality improvement initiatives.
Quality Assurance Supervisor (Raw Material & Laboratory), this role is essential to ensuring supervision of QA activities related to raw material inspection and laboratory testing, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. This includes managing daily lab operations (chemical & microbiological), overseeing non-conformance investigations, conducting environmental monitoring, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
Both roles require individuals with strong leadership and technical expertise in quality assurance, particularly in the food industry, with a solid understanding of regulatory standards (such as HACCP, BRC, and FSSC 22000), hands-on experience with lab operations or in-process quality control, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field (highly preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance and food safety within the food production industry; experience in thermal processing (e.g. sauce, retort) is a plus.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practical application of GHP, HACCP, BRC, and FSSC 22000.
Proven leadership and team management skills with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Hands-on experience in microbiological testing and raw material quality control, with the ability to interpret results and support quality decisions.
