The R&D Manager will be responsible for coordinating all plan and strategic R&D activities by working closely with the respective key stakeholders to ensure that our client is in a strong position to capture & convert key opportunities with their target & growth accounts. This role will also take the lead in cross-region collaboration and working with global colleagues on the transfer of knowledge, skills, technologies, and processes.
This position will also be responsible for the creation of new product ideas and prototypes that cater to customer needs and market trends. Work closely with the creation team to demonstrate solutions effectively, emphasizing performance and uniqueness. Ensure that products are developed on schedule, meeting market requirements and profitability goals from concept to commercialization. Collaboration with other departments such as marketing, sales, and operations ensures that R&D efforts align with overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree qualified in chemistry, food science, or related area
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a managerial role in the flavor and/or food ingredients.
Experienced in sweet & beverage segments with Savory as an additional benefit.
Comprehensive understanding of commercial and economic aspects of the business.
Clear understanding of sensory and analytical tools.
Good command of spoken & written English.
