Our client is looking for an experienced sales leader from the food industry, to grow and manage the sales function of their bakery ingredients and finished products operations in China. Responsible for leading a sales team, they are looking for a sales director who has proven track record leading the sales of customized, value-added food ingredients to Food Service, QSR, Retailers in China.
Responsibilities:
Manage existing key customers in China, within the bakery segment – food service, QSR, retailers.
Market strategy for China with new products and channels.
Build progressive account plans for growth, understanding customer trends and
Ensure strong, deep relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Develop and track account plans to achieve annual sales and gross margin targets.
Research and respond to industry trends relevant to the business.
Research competitors, suppliers and other related manufacturers to build a comprehensive picture of the market base in China.
Be the key focal point to senior executives for the target customer base.
Qualifications:
Sales Director level experience from the B2B food industry.
Proven sales track-record in customized, value-added food ingredients, and/or finished products to food service, QSR operators and retailers in China.
Connected with Senior Executives / Decision Makers of Food Service, QSR and HORECA operators throughout China.
Supply chain relationships especially within the Bakery industry segment would be advantageous.
Commercial acumen, people management and interpersonal skills are tantamount with the ability to create growth and momentum internally. We are looking for somebody with high levels of energy and drive, who thrives on challenges with ambition to progress.
Ability to manage multinational customers on a regional level.
Open to all nationalities, must possess extensive business experience in China.
What Our Client Offers:
Salary: CNY 750,000 – 1,250,000 /Year (Negotiable depending on experience/current package)
