Our client is a leading supplier of savoury ingredients to food manufacturers globally.
This newly created role will manage the sales of our clients’ functional savoury ingredients to food manufacturers throughout Japan, acting as their country representative.
Work closely with upper management to develop and implement sales and marketing plans and strategies including pricing, margin generation and negotiation of contracts.
Visit customers on a regular basis (minimum 50% field time; Japan) to provide sales service and technical product consulting on applications, discover and evaluate new application opportunity and ensure customer satisfaction.
Actively participate in exhibitions, customer seminars with responsibility towards customers.
Constant insight of market information/developments incl. competition
Coordination of customer projects/issues with other functions within our clients’ global business.
Preparation of annual budgets for the relevant range of clients and their achievement.
Actively participation in team meetings/events.
Manage an in-home office including correspondence and telemarketing activities and maintain consistent and effective communications with all relevant corporate groups and manufacturing sites.
Background in sales within food ingredients, ideally across Meat, Savory and/or Nutrition.
Ability to effectively communicate with management, research staff, customers and other business contacts.
Willingness to set up and conduct business activities from a home office.
Ability to interact with and influence key decision-makers.
Japanese national, good level of English.
What Our Client Offers:
Base salary: JPY 800,000 – 1,000,000 / Month
Performance Bonus: 15% Maximum
