Our client is a global leader in the sales, marketing and distribution of specialty chemicals and food ingredients.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for the development of a new business category within our clients Food and Nutrition division, specifically focusing on the sweet segment, covering fortified food & beverages; dietary food supplements, and confectionery in Thailand.
This is a newly created role and will report to the Commercial Segment Manager.
Generate sales revenue and profitable margins in the Food & Nutrition market – Sweet segments covering: Nutrition (fortified food & beverages, dietary food supplements, medical food) and Confectionery.
Build key accounts relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate, and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Develop, implement and realize the account strategy & plan within the sales strategy & plan and corporate requirements and guidelines in order to ensure the realization of business results and to achieve sustainable customer relationships.
Prepare and present technical presentations, workshops, and seminars for product promotion and marketing events, and collaborates with Manager to control budgets for sales promotion and trade show expenses.
Develop and maintain customers relations all levels and understand customers business profile and organization.
Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
Keeping up to date on supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
Coordinates with Customer Service to ensure accuracy quotation, sales revenue and stocks.
Provide monthly Gap analysis – Principles/Customers and deal with principles for any support related tasks.
Sales experience within the Food industry, ideally with nutrition ingredients and the sweet segment.
Understanding of the Food & Nutrition channels, with a solid network.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Computer literate with a good level of English.
What Our Client Offers:
Basic Salary: THB 50,000 – 60,000 / Month
Annual Bonus: Maximum 3 Months
