Our client is a leading global food producer with operations spanning multiple regions.
Our client is seeking a driven and strategic Country Sales Manager to lead their sales operations and distributor partnership across Indonesia, with potential growth to include Singapore and Malaysia. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director, you will serve as the key representative for our clients’ food business in Indonesia.
This is a stand-alone, remote role based in Indonesia, offering you the opportunity to take full ownership of local business development. You’ll be responsible for growing sales, overseeing distributor performance and managing some direct customer relationships. Your role will include developing and executing account strategies, forecasting sales, managing budgets, and coordinating with cross-functional teams across our clients business.
To succeed, you’ll need a strong understanding of Indonesia’s food industry—particularly in the savory and meat processing sectors. You’ll also benefit from technical support from our clients’ Asia team to help you deliver results.
Reporting to: Regional Sales Director
Location: Home-based Indonesia
Career path: Singapore and Malaysia responsibility
Focus: Manage current volumes, distributor management, key account management, growth of market share.
Qualifications:
Degree qualified in a relevant field.
Significant knowledge of the food industry of Indonesia, particularly in the savory and meat processing sectors.
Bahasa Indonesian speaker and fluency in English language.
Sales and key account management experience within the B2B food industry.
Customer and market focused, with ability to understand technical aspects of the product.
Motivated, organised and structured with a willingness to set up and conduct business activities from a home office.
