Our client is a purpose-driven company committed to healthy living and sustainability, is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Supply Chain and Procurement Manager to lead the sourcing of fresh fruits and vegetables for its manufacturing operations.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing effective sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring a reliable, cost-efficient supply of high-quality produce. Key responsibilities include identifying and evaluating suppliers, monitoring market trends, and mitigating supply chain risks. You will play a key role in driving operational efficiency and supporting the company’s growth through strategic sourcing and cost management initiatives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sourcing and procurement, sourcing fresh produce, or in the agricultural or food manufacturing sector.
Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts for perishable goods.
Deep understanding of the fresh produce supply chain, including the challenges of sourcing fruits and vegetables, will be highly advantageous.
Strategic mindset with a focus on cost-efficiency, supply chain continuity, and operational excellence.
Able to travel to visit suppliers, farms, and processing facilities in the Northern Region of Thailand.
