We are partnering with a global food trading organization, who are looking to hire a Commercial Graudate / Sales Executive to work within their commercial team, alongside a director, to assist in the growth of their range of food products to retail, industrial, international chain restaurant and food service customers throughout the UK and Europe.
They are looking for somebody who is eager to learn and looking to develop a career within a fast-moving business and would ideally suit either a new graduate seeking a commercial career, or somebody who has been in a similar role for 1 to 2 years.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in the food industry, which is fast-paced and constantly developing and requires somebody with a high level of flexibility, a great personality and the drive, ambition, and energy to keep up with the workload and customer expectations of the food industry. You will work as part of a team but with the confidence to learn the business and work independently.
This is a full-time, on-site position based at our clients office in Hertfordshire, so it’s important that you’re comfortable working from the office. This will enable close collaboration with internal teams and ensure a smooth integration. Therefore, candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
You will work closely and gain invaluable industry knowledge from an experienced team of Directors, with the opportunity to work with global, industry-leading teams in a friendly office environment.
Maintaining and developing an existing account base
Prospecting for new clients.
Opening new accounts.
Promoting and advising on the product range.
Face to face client visits.
Qualifications:
Either a new graduate from a food related field, or somebody with 1-2 years’ experience in a product sales / account management role.
Self-motivated, driven, ability to think outside the box
Passionate and driven.
Full current driving license.
Legally authorised to work in the UK without the need for a visa (now or in the future).
What Our Client Offers:
Salary will depend on experience, approx. £30,000 Annual
