Our client is a leading food service and restaurant chain in Singapore.
The Food Technologist is a newly created role in charge of establishing and managing the applications laboratory, overseeing the product developments to support the food service and restaurant chains in Singapore.
Responsible for the conceptualization, development, testing and scaling of new recipes for production and R & D products.
Conduct continual testing, improvement and scaling of new and existing products.
Provide product development and technical support/analysis for new and existing ingredients.
Conduct sensory evaluation, Manage sampling and lab testing.
Ensure all product creation complies with food safety standards and government and legal regulatory requirements (ex. ISO and FSSC Compliance).
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for product/process improvement.
Responsible for documentation updates, including technical information support and preparing essential reports.
Good experience as an application technologist, R&D technologist.
Good knowledge in ISO and FSSC certifications.
Knowledge & understanding of equipment, ingredients & their functions
Good command of English and presentation skills.
