We are working on behalf of our client, who are looking to hire either a Sales Account Manager to take on both the management of existing accounts and the development of new business within the sale of value-added meat and seafood products to retailers within the UK and globally. The vacancy will suit an established sales person with experience in the sale of similar food products, either as a supplier or retailer, and who can hit the ground running.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in the food industry, which is fast-paced and constantly developing. Requiring somebody with a high level of flexibility, a great personality and the drive, ambition, and energy to keep up with the workload and customer expectations of the food industry. You will work as part of a team but with the confidence to learn the business and work independently.
Qualifications:
2-5 years’ experience in a sales related role from within the food industry, either from the supplier or retailer side. Ideally with experience in frozen and chilled foods.
Innovative thinker who can work on their own initiative and manage time accordingly.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Passionate and driven.
Able to travel.
What Our Client Offers:
Base salary: 40,000 - 60,000 GBP / Year
