Our client is a global producer of specialty additives to the dairy industry.
Tokyo, Japan
This role will be the focal point for our clients’ sales of specialty additives for dairy, cheese producers in Japan.
Responsibilities:
Select & connect to leading customers, prospects, channel partners & other influencers in each target food segment.
Collaborates closely with the food segment with a focus on dairy, processed cheese, bakery, non-dairy creamer (NDC), meat & seafood segments to develop regional plan.
Expands specialty additives range into food segments.
Leads product launches including design of value proposition, forecasts, promotional packages, pricing positioning, target customers & coordination of appropriate technical trainings & exhibitions.
Develop and share voice of the market/customers as well as monitor competition.
Manage sales volumes & revenue and meet monthly and quarterly goals set for the territory.
Comprehend the legal/food requirements within Japan and share it through a monthly report.
Assist in the development of Key Performance Information (KPI) indicators and help advise and train sites on how to achieve these.
Qualifications:
Significant Sales, Business Development and Key Account Management experience, working within the B2B Food industry, ideally with experience in the dairy, cheese sector.
Ability to manage and influence different stakeholders – both internally and externally.
Ability to travel extensively within Japan.
Excellent communicator with a good level of English.
Most importantly, the successful candidate must be mature, proactive and ‘hands-on’.
Japanese national.
What Our Client Offers:
Basic Salary: JPY 500,000 to 800,000 per month
Annual Performance Bonus
